What's Missing From Your Content? Part 2

Create focused content, grow your community

Freedom To Write

You want freedom with your writing? It takes structure.

Connect your Words with the Magick of the Ancients.

Building trust in your content isn't about what you say. It's how you guide people from one idea to the next.

Stay consistent with your Vision.

(If you missed Part 1 - Link Below)

Content Crafting (Microcosm)

In this Letter we'll breakdown your conscious content creation blueprint. (Based on the 7 Hermetic Principles). So that you can stop posting random "one offs" that leave your community/audience guessing.

1. Imagery → Mentalism

It's important (in storytelling) to inspire visualization. If you can create a picture in their Mind with your words. They're hooked.

This goes back to primitive humans. The first method when relating information was through storytelling. We are wired to remember when images are painted in our Mind's Eye. Storytelling is critical. Each story should create a visual.

(This is good to do throughout your piece of content).

2. Authority → Polarity

Consistency → Commitment → Trust → Authority

Ask yourself... Do you respect the Authority of those you don't trust?

Stand out by positioning yourself against ideas everyone takes for granted. You have experiences. Start your posts with framing your experience in way that says you're an expert.

This creates curiosity and trust. There's a lot of people out there saying whatever they want. Stand out by giving people a reason to listen. (You can also use the expertise of others).

1. Experienced-based framing

Ex: "After X hours of studying [topic] here's what I learned.

2. Investment-backed authority

Ex: "I didn't understand until I invested [amount of time] into [topic].

(if you have high-level education, stating that)

Stay consistent but don’t be fooled: Platforms don't reward consistency. That builds trust with your community. Platforms reward retention. If people don’t take the time to read your posts, Threads (or any other platform) won’t push them. If people don’t interact, your reach shrinks.

It doesn’t matter if you post every day. If people aren’t staying on your post, you’re invisible.

3. Emotion → Vibration

Emotion = Energy in motion.

If your post doesn’t feel real, it won’t resonate. Energy speaks louder than words. When you read the post, how do you feel? This is a good gauge for others.

Your brain remembers emotional content better than the cold hard facts. When you feel that rise, you'll remember.

(That's why product placement happens at a cinematic climax).

The hippocampus is in charge of memory ~ next to the amygdala who is triggered by emotional content. Emotion = Memorable.

Emotion is the most powerful quality of your words. The News uses fear or shock. Influencers use anger or jealousy. But a CCC? You will step up and create content that invokes inspiration, hope and curiosity.

Don’t just post random thoughts. Don’t just share information. Make them stop. Make them rethink. Make them feel like you’ve been doing it wrong this whole time. (Because some people have been). The ones that aren't will be glad someone finally put their experience to words.

4. Fluency → Rhythm

Fluency = Ease of understanding.

People trust you more when content is easy to process. Be clear, not clever. A relaxed brain is an accepting brain ~ likeable = credible.

Cadence matters. A well-structured post keeps readers engaged from start to CTA. If they find themselves gliding effortless to the end, you know you created something good.

Does your CTA align with your hook?

If the post flows, action is natural.

(Make your CTA feel like a reward, not a request).

Create short sentences. To longer sentenceshelps with rhythm.

Spacing helps with readability but isn't required because big blocks of texts (at this point) is a pattern interrupter. And pattern interrupters make people stop.

Why? Because everyone is spacing out their sentences.

I like to space it out.

- Every line should be a short-form post in itself

( This keeps it punchy. )

5. Novelty → Cause & Effect

How does your post shift perspectives?

Your brain loves new information.

(Those “Aha” moments everyone is talking about).

Hence the over used phrase ~ “Unpopular Opinion.” so over it.

Newness triggers dopamine—making content easier to remember. This is the chemical of MORE and reward.

(Who doesn't want more rewards, right?)

  • Challenge traditions and beliefs

  • Give people new ways to look at the old

  • Bring up experiences and information people have never heard of

6. Authenticity → Correspondence

Does your post align with your greater Vision?

Be honest with your consistency. As of now,

I post 3x a day—1 long-form, 2 short-forms because:

I am the breadwinner, with a 2-year-old and taking—

a carpentry apprenticeship to learn to build my home.

While also balancing my wife's availability for her business.

Don't force it, Quality > Quantity.

People can feel when you're real.

When you write, your words carry more than meaning. They carry YOU—your energy, your truth, your presence. Trying to fit in? People sense it. Trying to sound smart? People sense it. Trying to sell something you don’t believe in?

People definitely sense it.

Authenticity isn’t about saying what people want to hear. It’s about saying what’s true for YOU. (And that can change as you evolve).

That’s what draws the right people in. That’s what builds trust.

(Stop trying to go Viral if it doesn't align).

A world built on masks and half-truths can’t last. But a world built on real voices, real vision, and real connection? That’s something solid. That’s something alive.

So, when you write, don’t overthink it.

Say what you mean. Mean what you say.

The right people will find you.

7. Community → Generation

Does your post bring people into your world?

Does it generate:

- followers?

- conversations?

- email subscribers?

Every great message creates belonging.

(Dipping into the Metrics here can be helpful).

But don't become METRIC OBSESSED.

Content Craft Example:

(A Thread I did 2/14)

95% of people believe they're self-aware.

A psychologist - 'Dr. Tasha Eurich'

( ↑ Authority—someone else's good to use sometimes)

Spent 4 years studying self-awareness and uncovered something disturbing...

( ↑ After X [years] of studying [topic]. This is Experience-based framing)

In reality

( ↑ Emotion - Curiosity)

...

Only 10-15% are.

She calls it: "meta-ignorance"—a blindness so deep you don’t see you're blind.

85-90% of people move through life unaware of their true motivations.

Unconscious patterns dictate their choices.

Self-imposed limits shape their reality.

Yet they believe they see clearly.

( ↑ entire part is a Novel concept)

...

They blame circumstances.

Repeat the same mistakes.

Feel stuck, despite their efforts.

They try to transmute lead into gold...

While being held down by lead weights.

( ↑ Creating Imagery)

Those who are aware?

( ↑ Emotion - Curiosity for transitions)

...

They do something different.

They question their own thoughts.

They study their behavior like alchemists searching for hidden elements.

Everyone else just gathers proof for what they already believe like an echo-chamber.

They're confused because

(Feel the Cadence, Rhythm and Fluency here?

Makes you want to flow to the next part, eh?)

...

The secret isn’t:

- more meditation

- more journaling

- more therapy

Those are tools.

Not the craft itself.

True self-awareness isn’t about looking deeper into the mirror.

It’s about realizing the mirror was crafted by someone else.

( ↑ Novel concept/challenging beliefs)

How? Good question, I'll tell you

...

The self-aware ask different questions:

Instead of "Why am I like this?"

You ask "What am I doing, and what is it creating?

Instead of "Why does this keep happening?"

You ask "What patterns am I casting into the world?

This is where the Great Work begins

( ↑ relates Authenticity because this is how I practice)

...

The hardest truth?

Your identity is fiction.

Your beliefs inherited spells.

Your patterns written by unseen hands.

Transformation is rare because the illusion is comfortable.

Most would rather defend their cage than admit they built it.

But for the few

...

Those who break free do something radical...

They rewrite their entire operating system.

They recognize the fool’s gold.

The stories they were given.

They become the true authors of their reality.

Take back your power

( ↑ this part conveys Emotion, a call to arms to inspire change)

...

This is why storytelling matters.

Not to entertain.

But to reveal.

When you tell your own story, you hold it to the light.

You see its structure.

You question its truth.

You stop living inside it.

You start shaping it with intention.

Everyone else?

( ↑ Positioning that Converts Community)

...

Most people live as characters in a script they never wrote.

The self-aware become the scribes of their own myth.

Who do you want to be?

( ↑ Inspires engagement to comment)

Follow me. I'll show you how to take back the pen.

( ↑ CTA to help nudge that community building)

Remember: Your Words are Your Magick.

This post was seen by 25,000 people. Granted, that's not a lot. 25k doesn't hit my top posts for most Reach.

But it's Engagement to Reach ratio was great and I felt good writing it. It attracted the people I would sit down to have tea with.

And gained 300-400 followers from this post alone.

That's what's important.
